Discover the Realm of Personal Literature

As a new author, my journey into writing stems from a profound need to express myself and illuminate experiences often left unspoken. My first novel, Scorched Earth, is a direct reflection of this. In it, I delve into the intense impacts of military trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and depression, exploring how these powerful forces reshape a veteran's view of the world and their connection to the community around them. This is a topic incredibly close to my heart.

My background includes serving in the United States Marine Corps as an Infantry Rifleman with the 1st Battalion 5th Marines from 2013 to 2017. Those two deployments, serving alongside the bravest men imaginable, were foundational experiences. Upon my return to civilian life, my focus shifted to my own recovery and treatment. I then forged a career path in real estate and corrections, finding a rhythm that offered more balance with my family. This new chapter also afforded me the invaluable opportunity to achieve two separate degrees in Business Administration and Management with Leadership through American Military University, while also dedicating time to personal development through religious studies to deepen my philosophical understanding of what it means to be a better person.

What began as a therapeutic process through writing has organically transformed into a fulfilling hobby, and now, a passionate venture. I am genuinely excited and hopeful to share these literary stories and ideas, believing they can resonate deeply with others
